Fun Fact
Winter Park, Colorado was originally known as Hideaway Park, a fitting name for the secluded mountain town that served as a quiet retreat for visitors and locals alike. In 1978, the town officially changed its name to Winter Park to align more closely with the nearby Winter Park Resort, a popular ski destination that brought increasing tourism and recognition to the area. The name change helped unify the town’s identity with its growing reputation as a year-round outdoor recreation hub. That rich history and sense of escape is exactly why we chose the name Hideaway Real Estate—to honor the town’s roots and reflect the unique mountain lifestyle it continues to offer.
